DR ANNA COPLEY

Director of Speech with Impact

Anna qualified with a Bachelor of Health Science (Speech Pathology)(Hons) from Charles Sturt University in 2004. Anna has more than 20 years of clinical, research and tertiary teaching experience. She has worked in public health, hospital, university and community settings.  Anna is married and the mother of four children.

Anna holds a PhD in speech language pathology and has presented her research both nationally and internationally. She has been published in over 35 peer-reviewed research papers and numerous book chapters, including work specifically related to adult speech pathology practice.

Specialising in working with adolescents and adults following stroke, traumatic brain injury and the onset of progressive neurological conditions, Anna has a long history of working with adults in the community.

Anna is a Certified Practising member of Speech Pathology Australia.

DR TANYA ROSE

Co-Director of REACH Academy
PhD BSpPath (HonsI) GCHEd MSPA-CPSP

Tanya graduated with Bachelor of Speech Pathology (HonI) from The University of Queensland and has more than 20 years of clinical, research and tertiary teaching experience. She has worked clinically in hospital, community health, university teaching clinics and adult and paediatric private practice, both as a director and consultant. 


Tanya holds a PhD in speech language pathology (Dean’s Commendation) and has presented her research both nationally and internationally. She has more than 60 publications, comprising peer-reviewed research papers and numerous text-book chapters, including work specifically related to professional practice and the scholarship of teaching and learning. 

Tanya is a passionate educator, having completed a Graduate Certificate in Higher Education in 2012 at The University of Queensland. Tanya currently holds a Senior Lecturer (Research) appointment in Speech Pathology at the University of Technology Sydney and an Honorary Senior Lecturer academic appointment in Speech Pathology at The University of Queensland.


Tanya has a particular clinical and research interest in family-centred models of care and measuring client outcomes. She specialises in working with clients who have developmental or acquired language difficulties and their families across the lifespan. Tanya is also passionate about access and inclusion and ensuring all individuals who have communication support needs, their family and friends receive appropriate information and access to services.


Tanya has completed Hanen Program® training in numerous Programs and is a certified trainer to deliver:

  • Learning Language and Loving It™ The Hanen Program® for Early Childhood Educators/Teachers

  • Teacher Talk® A Hanen training series based on Learning Language and Loving It™ The Hanen Program® for Early Childhood Educators/Teachers (certified trainer for in-person and online delivery)

  • It Takes Two to Talk® The Hanen Program® for Parents of Children with Language Delays

  • Target Word™ The Hanen Program® for Parents of Children Who are Late Talkers


Tanya is a Certified Practising member of Speech Pathology Australia.
